KEY POINTS:
Palestinian attacks, suicide bombings and Israeli casualties in violence all reached seven-year lows in 2007, according to year-end data released by Israel's Shin Bet internal security service.
Shin Bet reported 2946 overall attacks, a single suicide bombing - which killed three Israelis in Eilat in January - and 13 Israeli deaths in 2007, all the lowest such figures since Palestinians launched their latest uprising in 2000.
Palestinian violence has decreased steadily in recent years since the peak in 2002. That year, Palestinian militants killed 426 Israelis, including 211 in 60 suicide bombings.
