Irish broadcaster dies

DUBLIN: Irish broadcaster Gerry Ryan, a popular TV and radio host, has been found dead at his Dublin apartment.

Police were investigating the death.

Ryan, 53, presented his Gerry Ryan Show on Irish radio for more than 20 years.

Ryan is survived by his five children and his wife, from whom he was separated.
