DUBAI - Iraq's international satellite television channel went off the air today in the latest disruption of its broadcasts following United States-led raids on the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
The 24-hour channel, monitored in Dubai, went dead around 6am NZT.
Earlier, US defence officials said a radar-avoiding B-2 stealth bomber had dropped two 2000kg bombs on a communications centre in downtown Baghdad on Friday as part of the US-led war on Iraq.
The station, which airs Iraqi military statements and patriotic songs, had resumed broadcasting after several interruptions in the past few day.
