Iran nuke decade away

A United States report says Iran is about 10 years away from having the ability to build a nuclear bomb, double the previous estimate.

A Washington Post report quoted intelligence officials as saying: "Left to its own devices, Iran is determined to build nuclear weapons."

There were "credible indicators" that Iran was conducting clandestine work but there was no information linking the work to a nuclear arms programme.
