Prince Wilhelm-Karl of Prussia, a grandson of Germany's last emperor, has died at 85.
The Johanniter order, which the prince led for several decades, said Wilhelm-Karl was the last surviving grandson of Kaiser Wilhelm II, who abdicated and went into exile after World War I.
Born in Potsdam, outside Berlin, he took over at the Johanniter in 1958 and presided over an expansion of its charitable work.
His son, Prince Oskar of Prussia, has replaced him at the order.
