Haggis magnate John MacSween, 66, who invented a vegetarian version of the dish, also set up the world's only factory dedicated to the dish delicacy.
MacSween was an entrepreneurial Scot who made a considerable mark on the haggis market. MacSween's family haggis became so popular that the traditional Scottish dish was no longer principally associated with Burns Night; it was seen as a delicacy to be enjoyed by different nationalities at all times of year.
The haggis, MacSween boasted, is made with "great care", using only "the finest ingredients, using the best locally milled oatmeal".
