A human rights group says a new investigation into the 1975 deaths of five journalists, may point the finger of blame at the New Zealand and Australian governments.
The group of four Australians and one Kiwi, were killed during Indonesia's invasion of East Timor.
Maire Leadbeater of the East Timor Independence Movement, says papers show governments from both countries knew the group were in serious danger.
She expects the UN investigation to show the Australian government did not warn the group, in order to protect Indonesia's invasion plans.
