Russian leader Vladimir Putin is known for his strange promotional photos, and his 2016 calendar may just top the lot.
Putin has released a series for the new year, in which he is depicted fishing shirtless, cradling a puppy and sniffing a flower sprig, among other oddities.
The Daily Telegraph reports the calendar, titled "All Year With the President of Russia," shows Putin in a different pose each month, with each monthly photograph accompanied by a personal quote from the president, ranging from silly to serious.
