An inquest in Australia is due to begin hearing evidence into a fatal backpacker hostel fire in the state of Queensland.
The blaze six years ago in the town of Childers killed 15 tourists, many of them from overseas.
Radio Australia's Simon Cullen said the inquest was put on hold to allow for criminal proceedings against the man accused of lighting the fire.
Robert Paul Long was found guilty of arson and two counts of murder.
Among the 20 people due to appear before the coronor this week are the operator of the hostel, the company which manufactured the fire detection equipment and the electricians who tested it.
Frank Slarke is the father of twins, Stacey and Kelly, who died in the fire.
He said he still lived with the nightmares.
"It's just beyond comprehension for the average person who hasn't faced losing a child," he said.
The coroner, Michale Barnes, said the inquest would look at whether fire safety laws are tough enough and whether anyone else should face criminal charges.
