Former Cyclone Ingrid no longer poses a wind threat, but heavy rain in the far north of Western Australia has prompted flood warnings.
As expected, Ingrid weakened below cyclone intensity after cutting a destructive swathe through Queensland, the Northern Territory and WA for more than a week.
A flood warning has been issued for WA's east Kimberley region, with downfalls of 100-200mm drenching the Ord River catchment in the 24 hours to 9am yesterday.
Widespread flooding is expected over the next 24-48 hours.
