Hundreds die as boats capsize

Scores of people died and 200 were feared dead after two separate river boat accidents in the Congo.

On Sunday, a boat in northwest Equateur Province hit a rock and capsized, killing more than 70 of the 100 passengers.

Yesterday in Kasai Occidental Province, 200 people were feared dead after a boat loaded with passengers and fuel drums caught fire and capsized.
