WASHINGTON (AP) The Republican leader of the U.S. House of Representatives says the only way to fix President Barack Obama's health care law is to scrap it entirely.
Speaker John Boehner says the law has forced health coverage to be canceled and the costs of insurance premiums to rise. He says the Obama administration can't be trusted on the issue.
He spoke shortly before Obama planned to reveal his plan for letting insurance companies continue health coverage that they have been canceling for millions of Americans.
Obama is expected to propose administrative changes that would not require congressional approval.
But Boehner says he doesn't believe there is anything Obama can do administratively that would be effective.
