The London hairdresser who restyled British Prime Minister David Cameron's hair by moving his side-parting from the right to the left, has been made an MBE in the New Year honours list "for services to hairdressing".
Samantha Cameron arranged her husband's 2010 appointment with Lino Carbosiero who charges 90 ($178) for men and 150 for women. Carbosiero, whose other clients include Madonna, said he owed part of his success to his discretion. "[Clients] have to trust you. I don't blab and I'm respected for it." He said he was shocked to receive the letter notifying him. "I thought I hadn't paid my tax." Whitehall insisted Cameron was not behind the nomination.
