A hair stylist has been arrested after allegedly snipping a customer's ear on purpose during a botched haircut.
The 22-year-old victim, went to the salon in Madison, Wisconsin, to get the sides of his head shaved and 2.5cm cut off from the top.
But the hairstylist told the customer to
stop fidgeting then purposely nicked the victim's ear, police spokesman Joel DeSpain said.
It is alleged the angry hairdresser then ran the clippers with the shortest attachment down the middle of the customer's head, leaving the victim with a reverse mohawk and looking "a bit like Larry from the Three Stooges".
"While it is not a crime to give someone a bad haircut, you will get arrested for intentionally snipping their ear with scissors," DeSpain told the Wisconsin State Journal.
