Gunman kills 5 in US restaurant

A lone gunman opened fire inside a Middle Eastern restaurant in North Hollywood yesterday, killing four men and wounding another.

The suspect, described by police as a white male in his 30s who was possibly Armenian, fled the scene.

Sources close to the police investigation told the Los Angeles Times the incident may have involved Armenian gangs.

The victims were aged 20 to 25.
