BRITAIN - Kate Middleton, Prince William's girlfriend, has claimed to the Press Complaints Commission that she is being harassed by the Daily Mirror.
The newspaper had published a picture showed a grim Middleton - wearing sunglasses and carrying a Starbucks cup - headlined: "Look out, Wills here comes an heir-bashing". The story suggested the reason for her expression might be Prince William's "laddish escapades involving a couple of attractive girls".
Speculation about the couple's relationship and possible marriage has upped the value of paparazzi photographs. Newspapers will pay £4000 ($11,000) for a good shot of Middleton.
Her lawyers say they have "disturbing" film of photographers intruding on Middleton's privacy.
