ATHENS, Greece (AP) Greek authorities say a train with about 120 passengers on board has derailed after hitting a herd of cows that had strayed onto the lines, without any injuries to humans.
The country's Trainose railway company says the accident occurred Tuesday morning near the Asopos station in central Greece. The company says the engine and one of the five carriages plowed off the tracks but did not overturn.
The train was traveling from the northern port city of Thessaloniki to Athens. There was no immediate report of how many cows were killed or injured.
