Taking their seats, the unlikely couple chatted, also taking time to speak to officials such as Swiss Sports Minister Ueli Maurer and International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach.
In January of last year, Gabrielian's husband, estate owner Christian Barras, publicly responded to stories circulating in the Swiss press about his wife's alleged relationship with the Fifa boss.
At the time, the pair had been legally married for 16 years and Gabrielian is the mother of their two children.
The couple had reportedly known Blatter for several years.
When asked about his wife's relationship with Blatter, Barras told the press last year: "I know nothing about this. I'm still married to Linda."
He added: "She is a friend of the niece of Sepp Blatter."
Blatter, who has been dubbed the Most Powerful Man in Football, has been married three times and has one daughter, Corinne, who is mother to his grand-daughter, Serena.
Over the past year, Blatter and Gabrielian have been repeatedly pictured together, with Swiss tabloids often claiming that they are in a relationship.
The couple attended the very same 64th Fifa Congress Opening Ceremony this time last year, with Gabrielian stepping out in a similarly glamorous dress and platform heels.
At one point in the ceremony, Blatter stood up to make a speech, rejecting calls for his resignation from the Federation Internationale de Football Association (Fifa), having been the president since June 1998.
Pleas have been made for him to resign, following warnings from sponsors and political leaders.
