Girl rescued from bin

A 3-year-old girl almost drowned after falling into a rubbish bin full of water on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.

The child was resuscitated by her father before being rushed by her parents to a medical clinic in Imbil, west of Noosa.

The girl was in a stable condition last night and authorities said she would be flown by helicopter to hospital in Nambour.
