Germany celebrates anniversary of relativity

Germany has kicked off celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Albert Einstein's theory of relativity and the 50th anniversary of his death.

"Einstein Year" is being marked with tours, a scientific conference and a major exhibition about Einstein, whose theories about space, time and relativity revolutionised science. The researchers, from the Rothamsted Research institute in Hertfordshire, think that their finding - that some people produce natural mosquito repellents - could lead to new insect sprays and lotions.
