Gang grabs man's 3-year-old daughter while shooting at him on Bronx sidewalk

New York City police are searching from a group of men who grabbed a man's daughter from his arms before shooting him.

The man, 30, had been with his three-year-old daughter on University Avenue in the Bronx when he was accosted by three men, according to an NYPD spokesperson.

The three men opened fire on the pair before one attempted to grab the man's daughter, reports Daily Mail.

The trio then grab the girl from her father and shoot him in the right leg during the September 17 confrontation, KFOR reports

All three fled southbound on University Avenue.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital but he is said to be in stable condition.

His daughter was not injured during the shooting.

Police are looking for any information pertaining to the identity and whereabouts of the suspects.
