Just days before his trial date was set, a man charged with the murder of Wellington woman Warriena Wright has posted a picture of himself smiling and relaxing on a golf course.
Gold Coast carpet layer Gable Tostee, 30, was charged with the murder of Ms Wright after the 26-year-old fell 14 floors from the balcony of his luxury Surfers Paradise apartment in August 2014.
Ms Wright, from Lower Hutt, was in Australia for a wedding at the time and the pair had met through the Tinder dating app just hours earlier.
Two weeks have been set aside for the trial, which is due to begin in Brisbane's Supreme Court on October 31, AAP reported today.
Meanwhile, Tostee -- who has changed his name by deed poll to Eric Thomas -- has remained active on social media, posting comments about Donald Trump, Zayne Malik and buying cammouflage pants.
