Police found two frozen tigers in a fridge and two soup kettles filled with animal bones in an outdoor kitchen in Hanoi, Vietnamese newspapers reported yesterday.
A 40-year-old woman has admitted the bones were used to make traditional medicines.
Officials said the animals could have been smuggled in from Myanmar or Laos.
