The French Ambassador to Papua New Guinea, Jacques-Olivier Manent, has died suddenly while visiting Lake Murray in PNG's Western Province. The 58-year-old died of a suspected heart attack, the French Embassy in Port Moresby said.
Manent is survived by his wife Jana, three sons and a daughter.
