Fourth woman makes Tongan parliament

Lepolo Mahe Taunisila, who won a parliamentary byelection last week to replace two People's Representatives who had been made ministers, is only the fourth woman to make it into the Tongan Parliament since women were given the right to vote and stand for elections in 1964.

Former Auckland lawyer Clive Edwards won the other seat.
