A woman has been shot in the leg in the fourth shooting incident on the Gold Coast this month.
Police say the woman, aged in her early 20s, was shot in the thigh. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
Ambulance officers, who went to a house in Namatjira Court at Broadbeach Waters about 8.20am (10.20am NZT) yesterday, alerted police.
The woman has been taken to hospital and police are yet to formally interview her.
The house has been cordoned off and police have escorted two men and a woman off the premises.
On December 4, a 42-year-old man was shot in a random sniper-style attack as he walked with his family along the Surfers Paradise esplanade.
He remains in an induced coma in hospital.
A man has also been charged over a separate incident on the same night where a shot was fired at a car on the M1 motorway, and a parked utility was peppered with gunshots on Bundall Road in the early hours of December 5.
