CANBERRA - Four Australians injured in the Egypt bus crash have been released from hospital but another 22 are still being treated, the federal government says.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade today said four of the Australians who remained in hospital were in intensive care.
They were being treated in Cairo's Dar El Fouad and Al Haram hospitals.
Six Australians died in Wednesday's crash on the road between Cairo and Alexandria.
The bus was one of two carrying holidaying police officers, emergency service workers and relatives from Victoria, Queensland and the Northern Territory.
