Protesters have pushed back mounted police officers trying to keep them away from an entrance to the Crown Casino at the World Economic Forum in Melbourne.
The demonstrators, including New Zealand Green Party MPs Nandor Tanczos and Sue Bradford, have prevented several busloads of delegates from getting inside the casino.
A dozen police officers have scaled wire fencing to avoid the crush, and one officer has been injured.
Nandor Tanczos is with protestors blocking an entranceway. He says the scuffles between police and protesters have not been too serious.
