Indian doctor Mohammed Asif Ali has his passport back and was to fly home to Bangalore last night, although he hopes to return to his job at the Gold Coast Hospital.
Ali booked his flight home after the Australian Federal Police yesterday returned his passport, which was confiscated last month as links between Ali and former terror suspect Dr Mohamed Haneef were investigated.
