Former French Polynesian President convicted of corruption

Former French Polynesian President Gaston Flosse has been convicted of corruption.

A Tahiti court gave Flosse a suspended three-month jail sentence after finding him guilty of abusing his political office in a case relating to his purchase of a hotel.
