The ex-lover of former NSW MP John Della Bosca "freaked out" when she saw his wife sitting on a park bench next to her home, a court has been told.
Kate Neill said she had never met Della Bosca's wife, former federal MP Belinda Neal, but recognised her from her media profile when the woman on the bench lowered her sunglasses.
"Her eyes were flickering," Neill told the Downing Centre Local Court.
"I just really got the heebie-jeebies."
She was giving evidence at the hearing of a police application for a Personal Violence Order against Neal following an incident on April 6 at Newtown in Sydney's inner west.
