Indonesian authorities have raided street food stalls and restaurants after discovering that many were using the corpse-preservative formaldehyde to make food last longer.
Prime targets are food carts and roadside restaurants which peddle tofu, noodles and salted fish.
Police have also raided supermarkets.
Authorities warn that even low doses of formaldehyde can cause burning in the eyes, nose and throat, coughing and nausea.
