Internet trolls have defaced a Facebook page paying tribute to the victims of the Queensland floods.
Images of bloodied dead babies and pornography were posted in the photos section of the "R.I.P Families who lost members in the Toowoomba Flood" page.
The images were described as "sickening" by the dozens of people who have visited the page to pay tribute to victims.
"There are some sick people in this world," writes Ash Martin.
"Honestly, who gets their kicks out of posting sick photos and comments on tribute pages?"
Another Facebook poster James Benson said it was unAustralian.
"The people or person that has posted those utterly sickening photographs should be ashamed to call themselves Australian, and if they're not, they should leave this country alone.
"People have died and more are missing you twisted good-for-nothings!"
By mid-afternoon all photos and posts had been removed from the site.
It is unclear whether the content was taken down by Facebook or the site's creator.
Facebook users can report a page that they believe contains offensive content.
As of 5pm (AEDT) a lone genuine post by Christine Mackay paid tribute to the victims.
"My heart is breaking for you all up there," the post read.
In November, Facebook pages paying tribute to two dead teens Cameron Lowe, 17, and Chantelle Rowe, 16, were defaced.
One of the people behind the defacing was reportedly a high-ranking member of the Ku Klux Klan in the US.
Federal Communications Minister Stephen Conroy said sites such as Facebook had responsible use policies and the government expected them to be enforced.
