A fire at a San Francisco Bay area warehouse where Neil Young stored memorabilia started in a car the singer had converted into a hybrid vehicle to promote fuel efficiency, authorities say.
Fire Marshal Jim Palisi said the November 9 fire began in Young's 1959 Lincoln Continental convertible.
Crews had saved most of the building's contents, including other cars, guitars and photos belonging to Young.
