Low level industrial action by the Fire Service has effectively become a media blackout on emergency news.
Firefighters have for a while now been refusing to fill in paper work and won't report back to their control room after they've dealt with an incident.
That means the job can't be closed off, reports can't be sent to insurance companies, and any bills resulting from fires can't be sent out.
It also means the control room remains in the dark over what happened at a call out, and can't relay any information to news organisations.
Thousands of open jobs are currently sitting on the computers of the control room which are automatically closed after a month.
