A Fijian resort remains closed and all the guests have been evacuated after a spectacular blaze yesterday. The fire started in the 'Kids Club' at the Naviti Resort in Fiji at about 3pm yesterday. Guests and staff were evacuated to safety as firefighters contained the blaze, finally getting the fire under control at 2am this morning. Most of the guests and staff were relocated to Naviti's nearby sister property, The Warwick Fiji Resort & Spa. The fire destroyed the central building containing the main lounge, restaurants, shops and offices, although the accommodation blocks were saved.
