Fiji's caretaker Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase has won his seat back in parliament with more than 90 per cent of the vote.
Mr Qarase won his seat in the Lau Islands, scoring 93 per cent of the valid votes cast.
Vote counting continues following last week's general election, with 18 of the 71 seats declared so far.
The prime minister's SDL party has so far won 10 of the 18 seats declared.
Mahendra Chaudhry's opposition Fiji Labour Party has won seven seats.
The United Peoples Party has won one seat, defeating a government minister, Kenneth Zinc, who stood as an independent.
Full results of the elections will be known later this week.
Win for coup plotter's brother
The brother of George Speight, the man serving a life sentence for staging Fiji's 2000 coup, has retained his seat.
Samisoni Tokoinasau, who wants his brother freed from prison, won 81 per cent of the vote.
Mr Tokoinasau is the lands minister in Mr Qarase's outgoing government.
He used to be a member of the Conservative Alliance which has now amalgamated with Mr Qarase's SDL party.
He is the third former Conservative Alliance MP to have won on the SDL ticket.
