Female soldier found dead at stag party in Melbourne named as Natasha Rowley

The Australian woman who was found dead in a shower during a bachelor party in Melbourne has been revealed as 20-year-old soldier Private Natasha Rowley.

The Perth woman's sisters Alannah and Bryanna have each posted tributes on social media after her death 11 days ago.

"I'll never forget your sweet smile, my beautiful sister. I love you, Natasha," her older sister Alannah Rowley, 21, posted to Instagram, along with a collage of pictures of the two siblings.

"Forever in my heart, always on my mind," she added in her bio.

Meanwhile, Bryanna Rowley posted on Facebook: "Natasha Rowley, gone but never forgotten, I love you sister."

Pte Rowley - who had the nicknames Tash and Tooty - had officially become a soldier in the Australian Army just four months before her as yet unexplained death.

She was found dead wearing shorts, a long-sleeved top and joggers inside a shower at The Oaks on Market serviced apartments in central Melbourne on Sunday, July 16.

The room was rented by a buck's (bachelor) party, the members of which had travelled from Victoria and the ACT for the festivities.

The group is believed to have met the woman at a nightclub in the city before going back to the apartment about 3 o'clock that morning.

Police are yet to reveal the cause of Rowley's death, but it is not being considered suspicious.

Four men were questioned by police over the death, but were later released without charge.

The Australian, which was first to identify Pte Rowley, reported that investigators were treating the death as a potential case of misadventure.

A funeral will be held for Pte Rowley on Tuesday in the northern Perth suburb of Padbury.
