SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) FBI agents have charged a 44-year-old Puerto Rican man with interfering with a JetBlue Airways crew on a flight from Florida to Puerto Rico.
The FBI said in a statement Friday that David Soto Jimenez was upset he could not switch to a specific seat after being told his original seat did not recline because it was near the emergency exit.
The agency said Soto threatened to punch an attendant and that he lifted up his shirt to show his tattoos while asking whether the flight crew knew who he was.
The FBI said Soto eventually calmed down and was detained after the plane landed on Thursday.
Soto lives in Jacksonville, Florida.
