A father-of-three whose body was found in parkland in Sydney's southwest was the victim of an execution-style killing, police believe.
The body of Momtaz Kabbout was found by a passer-by near a walking track at Shortland Brush Lookout, in Lansdowne, just before 9am AEST (11am NZT) on Tuesday.
The 46-year-old West Fairfield man had been shot a number of times, police said today.
He was not known to them.
The homicide squad and local police have set up a strike force to investigate.
