Father charged over Manchester family slaying

A man has been charged with the murder of his wife and three children in Manchester after he was arrested when he flew back to Britain from Thailand.

Rahan Arshad was the subject of an international police hunt after the bodies of Uzma Rahan and her sons, Adam, 11, Abbas, 8, and daughter Henna, 6, were discovered in their house in Chealde Hulme two weeks ago.

Police said the victims died from head injuries.
