A fake letter allegedly from Sean Connery to Steve Jobs refusing to promote Apple products was one of the top topics on Twitter yesterday.
The fake letter was created by Scoopertino, a website specialising in "unreal Apple news".
In the letter, 'Connery' said he did not want to sell products for Apple.
"You have nothing that I need or want. You are a computer salesman - I am - JAMES BOND!"
The first tweeter realised his error and posted the link to the original article but that only served to escalate the frenzy as users then all tried to rectify their mistake.
