JERUSALEM (AP) Israeli police say an explosion has struck a parked car belonging to a prosecutor in central Tel Aviv.
Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld says the vehicle was empty and no one was injured in the blast, which damaged the surrounding area. He said an investigation has been opened and that the incident is "possibly connected to organized crime." He gave no other details.
Rosenfeld says the incident occurred near a court and a hospital.
Similar blasts tied to Israel's criminal underworld have occurred elsewhere in recent weeks.
