Photographs by an American artist Betsy Schneider of her naked 5-year-old daughter have been removed from a London gallery after complaints they were pornographic and could encourage paedophiles.
Police visited the Spitz Gallery after concerns that the exhibit featuring Betsy Schneider's daughter Madeleine could be "indecent".
The exhibit, which showed 63 separate naked images of her girl as a baby, a toddler and a five-year-old, was later closed and taken down after complaints from the public, according to The Independent newspaper.
"It is really hard for me to think that people look at these images and see something that is intended to be sexual," Schneider, 38, said.
