Exams on 18th green

A Chinese university is requiring law and business students to take golf lessons to prepare them for a business world where deals are made on the fairways.

Xiamen University joins a growing number of schools offering golf, but is unusual in making it compulsory.

Sports professor Chen Xiao said: "Many Chinese business deals are clinched on golf courses.
