A disgruntled former computer technician at Gucci's US headquarters in New York City is being accused of hacking into the luxury retailer's computer system and causing over US$200,000 ($260,000) in damage.
Prosecutors say 34-year-old Sam Chihlung Yin pleaded not guilty in Manhattan federal court to computer tampering, identity theft, falsifying business records and other charges.
