Ex-President in court

Former Israeli President Moshe Katsav has appeared in court for the first time to face rape charges.

Katsav is charged with raping a woman who once worked for him, as well as other sex crimes involving two other former employees.

Judges in Tel Aviv said hearings would start on September 1.
