BAMAKO, Mali (AP) A spokesman for Mali's former coup leader says he has moved to a neighborhood in the capital set aside for former heads of state.
Lt. Mohamed Bou Coulibaly said Monday that Amadou Sanogo changed his address over the weekend as planned.
The coup leader was promoted from an army captain to a four-star general in August and now is living near newly elected President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.
Sanogo's new neighbors also include the president of the transitional civilian government that led Mali after the coup before the recent elections.
Sanogo's spokesman says he's feeling "very much at ease" in his new residence.
