MILAN (AP) A court is deliberating the case of three former associates of Silvio Berlusconi accused of procuring prostitutes for the former premier's infamous "bunga bunga" parties.
Prosecutors have demanded convictions and prison sentences of seven years each for Emilio Fede, an executive in Berlusconi's media empire; Nicole Minetti, a former regional politician; and talent agent Dario "Lele" Mora. All three deny the charges.
Friday's deliberations come weeks after Berlusconi was convicted separately of paying for sex with an underage prostitute and forcing public officials to cover it up. He was sentenced to seven years and banned from politics for life. He is expected to appeal.
Berlusconi's judicial woes have been weighing on Italy's fragile government.
Italy's highest court is to rule later this month on Berlusconi's tax fraud conviction.
