A scientist in Scotland has discovered tracks made by a huge water scorpion 330 million years ago, the first of the species ever discovered, reports Nature. Martin Whyte, of the University of Sheffield, found the hibbertopteroid fossil tracks in Scotland's Midland Valley.
It was a six-legged water scorpion 2m-long and 1m-wide.
